I now have a boyfriend. *big smile* His name is Matt and he's also visually impaired, though he's no a member on here yet. We've known each other for a few years but only started going out this April. The other night after a concert at my school, he got me this Huge bouquet of flowers, took me for ice cream, and asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend. And I said yes of course. I really like him. He accepts me for who I am and doesn't mind that I talk way too much. We have quight a bit in common, including our love of baseball, commedies, and education. And he's just an all-around sweet guy. Really happy right now as I'm sure you can tell.
Is he a Federationist? I'd love to see an ACB and an NFB couple sometime. Those two organizations have more in common than most people realize. I've seen couples of different religions and political persuasions work out a life together, so why couldn't that happen? And besides, everybody knows than when an ACBer and an NFBer kiss, the blind community will explode!
...random...
you can always count on him to be random Lol .. congrats congrats on this news! :) am very happy for ya! :)
Well at the moment he's not affiliated with either organization, but I'n trying to get him into NFB since he'll hopefully be accompanaying me to Louisville this summer. Lol Blink!

Well I would hope he would be able to accompany you to Louisville without "having" to join the Federation. Regardless, I'm taking this thread O.T., so best of luck to you.
Kerri, I just want to sincerely congratulate you and matt on the beginning of this relationship. I wish you the best of luck with it! I know from experience how good you feel right now.
